Anne Hathaway's arm showed signs of healing as she traded a heavy cast for a lighter sling

She worried fans by dieting down to almost nothing and chopping off her hair to play the part of an impoverished French prostitute in Les Miserables.
Then, no one knew what to think when Anne Hathaway was seen visibly injured and wearing a white cast around her forearm and wrist that she was forced to wear in a sling.
Although the 29-year-old award winning actress still hasn't said what caused her arm injury, yesterday she had the cast removed.

Explaining the mishap, her rep said the Brokeback Mountain actress had injured her wrist in a 'minor accident.'
Looking decidedly less thin and frail than she has in months, Anne today went to a hospital in Manhattan to have the heavy arm bandaging removed almost five weeks after her accident.
